The weather this morning is

10.43 The weather this morning is blustery: the clouds are scudding and leaves blowing. And Soundscapes drift across the Summer Pops Bowl, San Diego, on October 4th. 1997. This was the town where we arrived at the venue to find that the venue had been changed.

Pat Mastelotto's trio is grooving behind me. A heap of paperwork and recently arrived post has taken my evening to reduce to manageable proportions. Bunny is in the house to welcome Toyah home after 18 consecutive shows in 9 days. The tasty potato & leek soup (not homemade) is warm, the champagne is very cold, and the bathwater is toasty hot, to soak away her day.

Sister has just `phoned from San Francisco airport. She arrived, after a delay in New York, c.22.00 Pacific Time yesterday and got to bed about 02.15. Up at 07.15 she is now off again. Patricia travels more than I do.
